As a part of the Application Reliability team, you will be at the forefront of technologies interacting with the full breadth of Commercial Platforms and Technologies: AWS, Hadoop, Azure, Teradata technologies, Python, Flume, Spark, Hive, Informatica, Talend, Sqoop, R, Tableau, Qlik, Python, New Relic, Kubernetes, OKTA, Azure Active Directory, App Insights, ServiceNow and more. You will be working with passionate, driven, excited individuals who believe that providing world class products is critical to providing the best health care products in the world. Every day, this role will provide you the opportunity to have:

  • An SRE mindset and a set of engineering approaches to running better production systems
  • Work directly with customers/developers/architects/product owners to help automate customer issues and drive solutions to build stronger more reliable Commercial Application solutions
  • Engage in and improve our Commercial End to End IT Products— design, deployment, operation and continuous improvement.
  • As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work to keep revenue and reputation-critical systems up and running by measuring and monitoring availability, performance and overall system health.
  • As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will learn and work on IAM platforms which include Azure B2C, OKTA and more to ensure and maintain a highly secure and speedy identity management platform for both our internal and external users.
  • Expected to learn and drive Observability based decisions using tools like AppInsights, New Relic and much more and shift the approach of problem management from reactive to a more proactive one.
  • Expected to understand, learn and implement cloud orchestration concepts including, but not limited to Kubernetes and Helm. Existing knowledge of a cloud platform like Azure is a bonus.
  • Pre-production validation before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and Production Readiness reviews.
  • Our engineers create, fix, extend and scale the code to keep it up and running and improve through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Interact with global technologists around the world building global and regional services and relationships with some of the most talented, passionate, caring individuals in the world.

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $124,000 USD. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.

•The right leader will have at least 5-10 years of experience in a Computer Science or relevant field, be highly analytical and be calm in the face of fast-moving environments.

•Experience managing Cloud based infrastructure.

•Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Azure, Teradata technologies, Python, Flume, Spark, Hive, Informatica, Talend, Sqoop, R, Tableau, Qlik, Python, Acquia, Drupal, Platform SH, Jamstack, Salesforce, Veeva, Apigee, MuleSoft, New Relic, Okta.

•Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design.

•Candidates must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills and strong customer focus.

•Ability to build, foster, and manage partner and customer relationships as a technical service manager.

•Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

•Recommend and encourage appropriate design and architectural decisions.

•Firm understanding of Scrum, Agile software development concepts.

•Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.

•Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
