Reporting to the CFO, APAC, you will make a significant impact in Janssen APAC to drive market leading, insight led competitiveness. You will manage a team of analysts across multiple APAC markets to create a center of excellence, partnering closely with both regional and market based commercial leaders to build data driven brand strategies and drive optimal performance. You will lead the development of new capabilities and build a strategic roadmap for Janssen APAC’s analytics and data investments. You will drive best in class patient-based forecasting, clearly articulating the potential impact of opportunities at key leverage points on the patient journey across multiple markets.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead a passionate and highly capable team of committed commercial analytics professionals
• Build a strategic roadmap for Data, Insights & Analytics, to enable fast and high quality, data driven decision making throughout all levels of the business
• Build, develop and deploy analytics capabilities to support our commercial operations
• Key contributor to driving capability development and technology investment strategy to enable effective data management across Asia Pacific
• Connect AP with global and other regions to leverage and optimize our strategic approach
• Leverage key trends from inside and outside of the pharmaceuticals industry
• Partner closely with JJT to ensure we have the best and most efficient technology platforms to realize the full benefits of Data & Analytics
• Financial accountability and management of departmental budgets, investment choices and planning for the region
• Identify and coordinate resources, monitor operating expenses, and maintain key relationships essential to achieving business goals

To be successful in this role, your background will demonstrate:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required in relevant field;
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field or MBA preferred;
• Understanding of key stakeholders in the region;
• Experience leading a large geographically spread team;
• Experience and demonstrated capability to lead high value, complex projects, including the deployment of new technologies
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
