The MRP and Adv Planning Sys Process Analyst is part of the global Supply Chain organization and will lead optimization and effectiveness of the MRP (Materials and Resource Planning) and Advanced Planning systems, including their design, architecture, configuration, and fluent integration into other business processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced systems and business process analyst, with a passion for figuring out how to leverage system solutions to optimize supply chain performance and capabilities. They will partner with functional leads/SME’s, business stakeholders, and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user requirements and workable technology solutions, while also monitoring performance and working to quickly resolve any technical issues or constraints.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Global application ownership for MRP and Advanced Planning business processes.
· Oversee and lead changes in the MRP/Advanced Planning areas, conduct formal reviews, consolidate issues and communicate progress
· Coordinate the creation of solutions and introduction of solutions with the process owners and key users in the respective business areas
· Support further development of the ERP system landscape, the long-term development roadmap and the definition and prioritization of the feature backlog in the team of all ERP product owners
· Lead and manage blueprint workshops, work with business function owners to understand the business requirements and develop best in class business processes.
· Control the planning and implementation of system update releases in close cooperation with global IT
· Organize and moderate the "MRP/Advanced Planning Operations Community of Practice" and make sure all stakeholders and members are engaged
· Proactively review processes and analyze data to identify opportunities and/or problems. Recommend and oversee actions for improvement.
· Develop training plans for all new applications and lead training initiatives for functional team
· Act as the central contact for the key users of MRP/Advanced Planning; Point of escalation for systems performance issues; Triage issues to provide guidance and resolve issues
· Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy for relevant master data maintained in SAP to support the demand and inventory forecasting and purchasing processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· BS. Degree computer science, mechanical engineering, operations, or equivalent; MBA is a plus
· 3+ years’ experience in systems development, design, product management or equivalent
· In depth experience with SAP advanced planning and MRP modules/functionality
· Experience with agile working methods such as SCRUM etc.
· Certification in the field of project management or proven record of project management or product ownership is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of systems engineering is a plus
· Experience in business process modelling and languages like UML, BPMN, etc.
· Broad knowledge and experience in supply chain operations
· Experience in FDA regulated industry and familiarity with CFR 21 Part 11, GMP, SAS, and Sarbanes Oxley is a plus
· Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and information quickly
· Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms understandable to the business
· Excellent Presentation, Communication & Inter-Personal skills
· Willing to travel as needed
