Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Director, Free Cash Flow (GSP) based in New Brunswick or Tampa, FL. This is a 24-month duration role.

As part of J&J’s commitment to improving free cash flow in 2023 and beyond, we recently established a Cash Flow Generation Office with Executive Committee Sponsorship. The Office is engaging in all facets of our business to define and deliver on “the art of the possible” for cash flow generation with tangible goals. The initial areas of focus and enabling workstreams will include trade and non-trade working capital, data transparency metrics, cash flow forecasting and change management and education. Cash Conversion is an essential tool for the New J&J to accelerate shareholder value and will allow us to invest in a better future for our patients, our customers, and our shareholders. Overall impact for J&J will be $5B in a 3-year time frame.

Global Services Procurement is hiring a Director, Free Cash Flow. This strategic position will be responsible for shaping, enabling and delivering the Source to Pay projects and activities supporting Free Cash Flow generating initiatives.

The leader will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Source to Settle project objectives including:

  • Identifying improvement opportunities for cash flow across the Accounts Payable workstream
  • Build a team of experts focused on identifying, analyzing and refining cash flow opportunities; oversee execution of target opportunities
  • Partner closely with the CFGO Program Management and cross-functional teams (GS, Tax, G2N, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, JJT, Finance, Corporate Procurement) to ensure related activities are synchronized to improve business impact.
  • Oversee execution of Cash Flow data analytics in the Source to Settle workstream
  • Lead projects to implement improvements for cash flow forecasting processes and technologies.
  • Provide deep insights on current AP processes, landscape and challenges and ensure that the new processes and solutions address current problems and create significant value for the enterprise.
  • Influences end to end process design; participates in workshops to design and implement solutions.
  • Keep regional and global stakeholders (including global/regional LT) up to date with the project’s progress (execute the communication plan in collaboration with the Change and Comms Lead)
  • Partner closely with JJT and GS to select new solutions and support the rollout of new AP digital capabilities.
  • Build collaborative partnerships and insights culture across key AP partners.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, challenges and accomplishments to key GS Procurement leaders and service delivery members.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, Science, Technology, Finance or equivalent
  • A minimum of 10 years of related relevant experience is required
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry is required
  • Prior people management experience is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge and deep experience across Account Payable processes and associated connections with Finance – including Tax and Treasury
  • Hands on, results-oriented and pragmatic leader with highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Experience working across geographies and business sectors
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally (Finance, Legal & JJT)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience at the senior levels and superior influencing and collaborating skills
  • Budget development and execution experience
  • Experience with de-centralized processes and systems preferred.
  • Understanding of procurement transitions (including historical shifts in the industry) preferred
  • Creative, flexible and adaptable leader with an agile and continuous improvement approach that thrives in a fast-pace, multi-faced and dynamic work environment.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 - $235,750. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
