Description
This Business Intelligence Analyst will be based within the Commercial Excellence function and will work across multiple functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to conduct business reporting and analysis in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include supporting the local sales incentive process, and to review and integrate multiple data sources to generate actionable insights via reports or dashboards to support commercial initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have a balance between technical proficiency and effective communication to communicate concise ideas across functions with different backgrounds.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Superior organizational and time management skills to contribute to multiple concurrent projects running in parallel that revolves around data automation and business intelligence-associated reporting.
· Partner with IT counterparts to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate ETL upgrades within the data warehouse. Requirements will generally be limited to determining data accuracy and identifying root causes of problems via a process-driven approach to obtain a solution in a timely manner.
· Conduct monthly sales incentive accruals and calculations while concurrently participating in the incentive automation project as a subject-matter expert representing The Philippines.
· Support SEA Commercial Excellence in developing regional-centralized sales insight reports/dashboards to assist various commercial teams in measuring sales performance.
· Prepares both cadence and ad-hoc reports or data analysis using various data sources not limited to internal data, regularly purchased data, or even new forms of data currently being identified that provides value.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
· A bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a STEM field with a focus on quantitative analysis (e.g. Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). Relevant experience in similar roles without the educational background can also be considered.
· One to two years of relevant work experience is required; Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry is preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and any major data visualisation tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
· A fast learner and self-starter mindset who can demonstrate adeptness at operating and troubleshooting technology.
