This team will craft the Learning & Development strategy and ecosystem for Johnson & Johnson and will work across our learning teams across the globe. In this role, you will work alongside the Practice Area Heads, Program Managers and subject matter experts to design and develop our signature programs that develop build the most critical skills of our J&J employees. You will provide modern learning solution expertise and apply adult learning and instructional design principles. The role will understand breadth of business tools, resources, and day-to-day business operations of learners to help design an experience that embeds learning in the flow of work. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Practice Area Heads, Program Managers and business/functional SMEs to understand learning needs and translate into a modern learning experience design; Apply innovative design thinking and adult learning principles in the design of engaging learning experiences
- Review detailed design with Program Manager and business subject matter experts to ensure needs and objectives are met
- Create a blueprint for high-complexity J&J Learn content including needs assessment, learning objectives, learner experience, content outline, instructional strategies, etc.
- Determine appropriate mix of delivery methodologies with learner-centric mindset
- Make content sourcing decisions, including curation in alignment with approved content build/buy strategy
- Partner with J&J Learn Global Service Center as appropriate for development of learning assets, where needed
- Engage vendors using innovative Learning technologies to develop/deliver content; manage development of content by third party providers, as needed
- Work alongside project manager when applicable to develop and handle project timelines, lead meetings across different teams, and mitigate risks to ensure programs are developed according to project plan
- Gather feedback on Learning program experiences for continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with latest and future learning experience trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years or more of business experience
- Minimum of 3 year's experience designing and developing learning programs
- Instructional Design Expertise
- Fluency in a variety of content development systems and authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, SCORM, etc)
- Vendor management
Preferred:
- Healthcare industry, Learning & Development
- Certificate in Instructional Design, Virtual training development
Other:
- Strong English proficiency
- 10% travel

The base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
