Janssen is recruiting for an enthusiastic Product Architect to support our omni-channel HCP experience product group. This position can be located out of Belgium, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, France and Germany.

The best-fit architect has a passion for technology, but always puts the users first. The architect's focus will be on a variety of technologies and innovation, to support our Janssen Commercial business.
You have to possess the ability to look at the big picture but also to go deep into solution architecture technical design. The perfect candidate will have proven communication and visualization skills and be a phenomenal teammate with a collaborative attitude.
We're looking for someone who loves to design patterns, flexible and reusable components with a strong problem-solving mentality. You are creative and highly interested in innovative technologies, while also being structured and methodological in approach.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with Business Technology Leaders and Product Owners to drive the evolution of Janssen's Technology, reference architectures, and technical foundations of applications and their interaction.
- Promote and educate your colleagues on omni-channel customer engagement technology trends and drive technology innovation based on business strategy and industry trends
- Support technology evaluations` and conduct Proof of Concepts & Proof of Values to demonstrate capabilities based on Janssen EMEA needs
- Develop end-to-end architecture of key strategic solutions in partnership with our product teams to enable end to end customer engagement journeys for healthcare professionals & patients.
- Partner and collaborate with global IT teams to define and improve the use of (reference) architectures and existing assets
- Partner with product engineers to ensure development of the solutions is aligned to the proposed architecture, standard methodologies & principles.
- Apply the right integration patterns in order to create solid integration architecture designs
- Understand external & internal regulatory frameworks (GDPR, Healthcare Business Integrity, …) to take these into account when developing architecture designs
- Engage with industry consortia, analysts, customers, and peers to stay abreast and drive and influence the direction
- Lead & coordinate product architecture boards
- Follow-up budget plan & spending for architectural work
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Demonstrated ability working in the IT space
- Broad general interest in infrastructure, data & application architecture
- Experience working in or with agile teams
- A solid technical background with hands-on experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of integrations patterns, event-driven architectures & API management; you are familiar with REST and GraphQL
- Superb consultation skills to analyse business requirements
- Able to communicate and present clearly and effectively findings to partners at all levels
- Able to collaborate and establish relationships with business teams, IT colleagues, and technology vendors
- Able to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Proficient in English
Preferred:
- Experience in the Life Sciences Industry and/or GxP environment
- Experience with leading CRM platforms (SFDC, Veeva)
- Knowledge of (SAFE) agile architecture.
Other:
This position may require up to 10% international travel.
