We are searching for the best talent for FTA Free Trade Agreement – Special Regimes Coordinator (Fixed term- 24 months) to be in Sao Paulo, Sao Jose dos Campos, Quito, Mexico city or Bogota.
Purpose: Deliver business goals in assuring security of supply, compliance and transparence to the processes and optimum value for money, Build external and internal stakeholder trust, preference and advocacy, and serve as a trust advisor for other areas.
You will be responsible for :
- Lead SPECIAL TAX REGIME FTA (Free Trade Agreement) in LATAM by coordinating expert's consultants;
- Execute global trade compliance standards and be in charge of data harmonization/unification, origin management getting in touch with J&J manufacturing companies/shippers networking in order to keep all info proper updated in SAP and in alignment with regulatory affairs;
- Keep all SPECIAL TAX REGIME records and follow up all SPECIAL TAX REGIMEs legislations
- Evaluate opportunities by sharing SKU, Origin, Shipped from/Precedence, Labeling as well as full set of docs such as Invoice, AWB, BOM and Labeling to EY leverage SPECIAL TAX REGIME qualification process;
- Lead FTA compliance workstream ( validate previous broker FTA with EY )
- Regional Governance with FTA consultant/experts & Trade Ops to keep tracking all agreements in the region;
- KPIs & Power BI/Dashboard implementation (e.g: Total NPIs x Total SPECIAL TAX REGIME evaluated x Qualified);
- Shape the current status-quo by bringuing all resources needed for a FTA best-in-class operation
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Experience with International Trade focused in International trade; Customs and Harmonized Code across LatAm
- Bachelor Degree in International Trade / Administration
- FTA (Free Trade Agreement) Experience in LATAM is preferred;
- Mandatory Fluent in written and oral in English & Spanish
- Mandatory Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization – industry or consultant companies (eg:Delloite, EY, KPMG). Multi sector experience preferred.
- Mandatory Analytical and process oriented, with strong decision making / problem-solving skills – LEAN certificate (e.g Green, Black or 6sigma certificate) + Project management (PMBOK, FPX, PROSCI)
- Analytical and process oriented, with strong decision making / problem-solving skills.
- Strong at challenging status quo and pragmatic approach to escalate issues, demonstrate financial impact and navigate between different hierarchical levels
- Proactive approach and ability to persuade and influence others in a multicultural environment and work with cross functional teams
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the E2E SC
- Good communication skills on all levels (bottom up & top down)
- Strong collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Quick to learn
