Responsible for leading all operations related to manufacturing, materials, facilities, distribution, engineering and maintenance to ensure smooth, continuous, efficient and controlled manufacture of products in support of the business' forecasts and inventory goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads the Needles Manufacturing team results in the areas of safety, quality, cost and schedule
  2. Builds and maintains an environment of innovative continuous improvement, focusing on quality, value creation, process development and capacity.
  3. Leads supervisory and operations personnel working in the Value Stream, including developing people at all levels to grow within and beyond their current roles.
  4. Coordinates and plans with Franchise Operations Development in terms of new products or improvements to the products & production lines.
  5. Reviews and aligns with all regulatory, operational and personnel policies and procedures (including but not limited to safety, environmental, quality, employee relations), recommending changes as appropriate.
  6. Ensures regular communication of business performance results to all relevant employees.
  7. Provides input into Operations strategic plans and activities.
  8. Models Credo behaviors.
  9. Responsible for presenting business related issues or opportunities to next management level

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or University degree required; focused degree in engineering or technical field preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

· A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience

· Experience in manufacturing and/or equipment development and/or project management and/or installation and qualification

· Experience managing direct reports as a Facilitator and/or Manager

Preferred:

  • Experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
  • A Six Sigma and/or Process Excellence and/or Lean certification. If not certified, evidence of effective use of the tools.
  • Experience managing compliance associated with quality and/or regulatory and safety policies.
  • Working in a FDA regulated environment.
  • Basic or advanced computer and database management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Statistical and analytical problem solving.

Other:

  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel
