Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Inventory Specialist who is self-motivated and passionate about working in inventory management and logistics with a keen attention to detail.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage and operate the inventory system from receiving to the disposition of all parts
  • Manage the receipt, unloading, and organization of mission-critical supplies
  • Maintain inventory database through data entry of received and consumed items
  • Coordinate all stock-related duties, including returning, packing, and labeling supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Monitor expense bins and ensure orders are placed to replenish as needed
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Coordinate the handling of freight and the movement of equipment as needed
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to provide inventory levels, alert recipients of packages on key deliveries and provide email updates, as needed, to ensure a high level of communication

What you have:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in storekeeping and inventory control
  • Knowledge of proper inventory management
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in data entry and management (experience with Microsoft Excel)
  • Great attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time and organize inventory
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds (experience with pallet jack and fork-lift operation)

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Google Sheets and ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP or Oracle
  • Experience working with freight carriers on completing shipment related documentation for domestic and international shipments
