Role Overview:
We are looking for a service-oriented individual that has outstanding attention to detail, has good communication and multi-tasking skills, and can work well with internal customers and external vendors.
What you'll do:
- On call 24/7 for the coordination and resolution of emergency situations and expected to respond to general, non-emergency facility emails within 24 hours
- Collaborate with the Facilities team in completing projects & service/work orders.
- Complete a variety of assignments including, but not limited to, janitorial, maintenance, utility services, relocations, and office moves
- Assist with any building issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies, and repairs)
- Perform preventative and routine building maintenance and repair to furniture, light fixtures, floor tile, carpet, plumbing fixtures, roofs, windows, doors, walls, minor electrical, ceiling tiles, etc.
- Perform basic electrical work and determine when an electrician is required.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems with facility systems, including electrical, electromechanical, electronic control systems/components, fire alarms, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), security, and other complex systems in building facilities.
- Exceptional at follow-through and be able to keep an open mind, consider unique approaches, and be open to change and considerable variety in the workplace.
- Perform daily facility runs and straighten/replenish snack items as required, and check conference rooms and all common areas at least twice daily.
- Inventory of office supplies, place orders, and stock as necessary
- Perform new employee and visitor cube set-up
- Assist with internal moves
- Assist with coordinating vendors for more involved repairs
- Perform facility safety walk-throughs and identify problem areas, follow through on rectifying those problems, maintain logs, etc.
- Assist Facilities Manager with various other projects as needed
What you'll have:
- At least 3-5 years of Facilities Technician experience with an emphasis on corporate facilities, or equivalent
- Experience managing general repairs related to mechanical systems (HVAC, Lighting, and general building systems)
- Ability to handle multiple requests work in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to customer requests/service issues
- Ability to use common business software programs.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
- Must be able to maneuver a 10 ft. ladder
