About the role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help strategize and manage complex autonomous mining engineering projects, identify gaps, and implement best practices for our customers. This position will involve intense collaboration with engineers within Applied Intuition and at the customer, in order to implement solutions towards our customers’ autonomy deployment goals.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
Manage hardware and software stack deployment and autonomy system commissioning activities across customer mining and construction sites globally
Own and manage multiple concurrent mining autonomy customer engagements, ensuring all workstreams are progressing toward contractual obligations and delivery milestones
Define and scope bi-weekly sprint goals across customer projects, maintaining rigorous documentation of deliverables and task traceability in tools like Jira and Confluence
Serve as the operational backbone for customer engagements — keeping the right people in the right meetings, maintaining workstream hygiene, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
Collaborate closely with software engineers, workstream leads, customer engineering teams, and business development to drive progress on mining autonomy deployments
Collaborate with customers to integrate and deliver mining autonomy solutions, coordinating across hardware and software teams to hit aggressive timelines
Identify and implement AI-driven improvements to sprint workflows, reducing manual overhead and increasing team velocity
We’re looking for someone who has:
3–5 years of experience in technical program management, engineering, or a related field; candidates with a software engineering background transitioning into TPM are welcome
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex customer projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail
Experience with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, sprint planning)
Enough technical fluency to follow engineering discussions, parse software scoping tasks, and contribute meaningfully to sprint planning — coding experience is not required
Strong organizational skills and a high bar for documentation hygiene across all customer deliverables
A positive, adaptable attitude with the ability to context-switch quickly across customers and workstreams
Nice to have:
Experience in mining, construction, or other heavy industry environments
Familiarity with autonomous systems or robotics programs
Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to automate or streamline workflows
