About the role

We are looking for an autonomous vehicle (AV) integration engineer who can work onsite with customers to design, develop, and deploy autonomous software systems to target vehicles.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Work cross-functionally with product, software, mechanical, and electrical to develop and deploy AV systems that meet requirements
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot integration between various AV software and hardware components
  • Directly support customer use of Applied Intuition tools with autonomy software
  • Software development, software scripting, software API integration, and hardware integration

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Software development and testing experience in python and C++; scripting experience in bash
  • 1+ years of experience in developing large software systems
  • Experience with Linux development, software dependencies, and local networking
  • Eagerness to resolve customer issues and coordinate between engineering teams
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent

Nice to have:

  • Experience with autonomous vehicle software and hardware development
  • Experience with robotics software and middlewares (e.g. ROS) and different API integrations (e.g. gRPC)
  • Experience writing drivers for various hardware interfaces (e.g. Radar, Camera, Lidar)
  • Experience working gaming engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal)
  • Experience with complex distributed computing and video setups utilizing GPUs & FPGAs

The salary range for this position is $65,000 USD to $400,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
