About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader with a background in the Oil & Gas, Logistics and Mining industries to lead our sales efforts in the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a strong network of contacts, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in these sectors. As the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing relationships with key clients, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Oil & Gas and Mining industries in the LATAM region.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed revenue targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including major players in the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets, strategic partnerships, and innovative sales channels.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making and adapt sales strategies as needed.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to drive continuous improvement and optimize sales processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles preferably within the Oil & Gas and/or Mining industries, with a demonstrated track record of success in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships with C-level executives.
- Deep understanding of the unique dynamics, challenges, and opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Logistics and Mining sectors in the LATAM region.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve ambitious targets, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of developing and executing complex sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Fluency in English and [Spanish/Portuguese], both written and spoken, is preferred.
