About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and versatile Human Resources / Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new office in Thiruvananthapuram, India. This role combines office administration responsibilities, human resource management duties, and basic finance administrative support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management
  • Support the Head of Global People Operations and Head of Indiain local employee-related onboarding and issues.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, extending offers, and running background checks.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  • Facilitate local Payroll review and approvals in partnership with partner, vendor, and/or US team.
  • Oversee local swag vendor and employee engagement programs.
Office Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Handle reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls.
  • Produce company entry passes for employees and visitors.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with building management as needed.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating office events and activities to foster team engagement.
Financial Support
  • Support basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports related to the Thiruvananthapuram office.
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
