PURPOSE OF POSITION

Reporting to the Communication & Public Affairs Leader, Taiwan, this role is responsible for implementation of local communication & public affairs strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions)

· Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic communication and public affairs plans, as assigned

· Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders

· Develop and maintain effective and compliant relationships with media, HCPs, industry associations and patient groups, as assigned

· Monitor and analyze the media and the environment in Taiwan

· Manage projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget implementation

· Manage local PR agencies, & other vendors

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Demonstrated experience in:

o Implementation of strategic communication and public affairs plans

o Managing agency partners, budgets and timelines

o Managing multiple projects

· Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and work within local laws, regulations, and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

· Fluency in Chinese and excellent written and verbal command of English

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

PREFERRED

· Bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism

· At least 4 years of experience in a pharmaceuticals/healthcare communications role (agency or in-house)
