Das Abiomed Clinical Support Center bietet unseren Kunden (Krankenhauspersonal, Ärzten, Krankenschwestern und unserem Abiomed-Außendienstteam) rund um die Uhr Unterstützung für Impella-Produkte und -Therapien. Als Teil der Abteilung Training & Education EMEA APAC arbeitet der Clinical Support Consultant abteilungsübergreifend und mit den Kunden zusammen, um optimale Verfahren und positive Patientenergebnisse zu fördern. Die Stelle wird hauptsächlich von zu Hause aus besetzt. 
 
Primäre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Unterstützung von Patienten mit aktiver Impella-Unterstützung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Außendienstteam zur Optimierung der Ergebnisse bei Hochrisikopatienten (Herzinsuffizienz, Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen, Myokardinfarkt, kardiogener Schock, ECpella-Unterstützung usw.)
• Proaktive Anrufe zur Gewährleistung einer optimalen Produktunterstützung und -verwaltung für externe Kunden (Krankenhauspersonal).
• Proaktives Nachfassen bei festgestellten Problemen.
• Hervorhebung der Vorteile und des Einsatzes von Impella Connect, um eine Echtzeit-Optimierung der Therapie zu gewährleisten.
• Aufrechterhaltung eines hohen Standards an Fachwissen und bewährten Verfahren.
• Dokumentation in Salesforce.
• Bereitstellung von klinischen Ressourcen für die Kunden. 

 The Abiomed Clinical Support Center provides our customers (Hospital staff, physicians, nurses, and our Abiomed field team) with 24/7 support for Impella products and therapies. As part of the Training & Education EMEA APAC department, the Clinical Support Consultant works collaboratively across departments and with customers to promote best practices and positive patient outcomes. The position will be primarily home based. 
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Support patients on active Impella support together with the field team to optimize outcomes in a high-risk patient population (Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Disease, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiogenic Shock, ECpella support, etc.
• Proactive calls to ensure optimal product support & management to external customers (hospital staff).
• Proactively follow up on identified concerns.
• Highlight the benefits and utilization of Impella Connect to ensure real-time optimization of therapy.
• Maintain high standard of expertise and best practices.
• Documentation in Salesforce.
• Provide clinical resources to the customers.

Qualifications

Berufliche Qualifikationen

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Krankenpfleger, Krankenpflegepraktiker oder Arzt.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre klinische Erfahrung.  
• Starker klinischer Hintergrund, einschließlich Patientenmanagement, Intensivpflege, Notfallpflege oder ähnliches, wird stark bevorzugt.
• Erfahrung mit Impella
• Bereitschaft, in einem 3-Schicht-Modell zu arbeiten.
• Fließende Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache. Italianisch ist ein Plus.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.

Job Qualifications

• Successfully completed training as a nurse, nurse practitioner or physician.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience.  
• Strong clinical background including patient management, critical care, emergency care or similar is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Impella
• Willingness to work in a 3 shift model.
• Fluency in German and English language skills. Italian language is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills.
