The GTC Digital Process Manager is responsible for leading and/or completing day to day project deliverables to support implementation of GTC technology with initial focus on export controls and trade sanctions capabilities. In this role, the GTC Digital Process Manager drives the implementation of new/improved digital global trade processes across the Pharmaceutical and Medical Technology Segments in collaboration with cross functional partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map compliance processes to align with digital solutions across global trade compliance workstreams, with an initial focus on export controls and trade sanctions capabilities.
  • Ensure global trade processes and data requirements are integrated into digital solutions.
  • Document trade-offs and prioritize business requirements to achieve Export Controls and Trade Sanctions (“ECTS”) program objectives while optimizing cost and improving efficiency.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design and testing and perform solution demos to team members.
  • Support creation and execution of testing scenarios and drive resolution of post release technical issues.
  • Build and maintain training materials, control documentations and communications.
  • Ensure that systems meet company standards for security, compliance and data requirements.
  • Serve as a project manager ensuring timely execution of project deliverables in collaboration with project core team members and actively handle the project risks, actions, issues, decisions and escalations.
  • Drive continuous improvement across global trade digital processes workstreams.
  • Handle 3rd party software provider master service agreements and purchase orders.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the global trade compliance/global trade operations industry.
  • Shown understanding of global trade business processes and translation into systems requirements.
  • Experience with project management and system implementations.
  • Demonstrated communication skills to achieve understanding of technical solutions to a diverse audience.
  • Shown high level of attention to details.
  • Proficiency in English including verbal and written communication.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Agile and Design-Thinking principles.
  • Experience implementing global trade export controls and trade sanctions solutions.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of intelligent automation and/or new technologies.

Other:

  • This role may require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel.
  • This role can be based in any J&J location in North America with considerations given to Markham, Ontario Canada.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $97,000 to $166,750. In the Bay Area, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,200 to $191,820.
