This Associate Director position will report into the Sr Dir Commercial Strategy and Insights and will provide strategic project, program, and change management to seamlessly execute strategies that result in value creation. Key focus areas will include project/program management (including project planning, execution tracking, and reporting as well as communication management, stakeholder management, and risk identification) and robust change management. This position will also drive department process improvements and transformation efforts and therefore requires the expert leadership of cross-functional project teams and partnership with senior leaders to ensure key projects are aligned with business objectives and meeting the defined KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Function as the E2E Project and Change manager for mid- to high level complexity projects/ initiatives from conception to completion.

·       Employ best-in-class project management methodologies including chartering, scoping, development and maintenance of the integrated project plan, leading project team meetings, and customized reporting of project metrics.

·       Lead high-performing project team to ensure seamless alignment toward and achievement of the project objectives within scope, on-time, and within budget.

·       Utilize formal change management methodologies (e.g. PROSCI) to ensure adoption, absorption, and normalization of project outputs.

·       Function as an expert in project risk management and contingency planning, including risk registry, impact analyses, and mitigation design.

·       Maintain a strategic mindset when analyzing complex information to understand impacts to TAs, Centers of Excellence (CoE) and be able to effectively lead through complexity.

·       Supervise critical metrics/KPIs and their impact on the project and/or business and maintain confidential communications of these indicators to the senior leadership

·       Employ robust stakeholder management across senior leaders and workstream leads with particular attention to touchpoints within TA/CoEs and across JALT teams.

·       Successfully interface and manage vendors, consultants, and external partners as necessary.

·       Drive the evolution of processes, systems, and operating models to strengthen organizational capabilities and improve organizational performance.

Qualifications

Education:

  • This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • A post-graduate degree (e.g. MBA, MA, MS) is preferred.
  • Professional project management (e.g. PMP), change management (e.g. ProSci), or Six Sigma (e.g. Green Belt) certifications are preferred.

Experience and Skills: 

  • 7 years of overall business experience preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare.
  • 3 years of formal Project and/or Change Management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability for leading project teams and holding others accountable for delivery .
  • Demonstrated ability to present targeted data and KPIs to senior and executive leaders.
  • Expertise in scenario planning to identify ranges of potential outcomes and impacts and managing for both positive and negative possibilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to establish good working relationships across functions at all levels, identify risks and devise creative and strategic solutions.
  • Experience in project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, Planisware). 

Preferred:

  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) or other business intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Previous people management or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Previous resource and/or capacity management experience is preferred (but not required).

Other:

This position is located in Horsham, PA and may involve up to 10% travel as required to support project teams at multiple sites/locations.
