Janssen is recruiting MBA talent passionate about exploring a career in healthcare for their Leadership Development Summer Internship program with a focus on Marketing and Commercial Leadership roles. The internship is a 12-week period during the Summer of 2024 and is located in the greater Horsham, PA , Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ area (depending on team assignment).
Your summer project will support Janssen’s business priorities. Internships are available in the following functions: Product Brand Marketing focused on professional, consumer or patient campaigns, Market Access, and Global Commercial Strategy. As part of the summer program, you will be given priority consideration for the full-time program. Janssen’s Full-Time JPLDP program consists of diverse rotations in marketing, sales and other key commercial functions to prepare you as a future business leader. All rotations are North America based and supplemented by classroom and e-learning training over the course of the program. Training covers all areas critical to success at J&J and delivered by program leadership, key commercial pharmaceutical leaders, J&J Executives, and external consultants.
Qualifications
To be considered for this robust experience, you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Project management skills and ability to navigate a large organization to accomplish goals.
• Collaboration with key internal and external partners in support of project results.
• Act with speed, learning agility, and intellectual curiosity.
• Development of significant partnerships to add value and insights for the organization.
• Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
• Ability to make Credo-based decisions and develop a Credo-based culture.
• Expecting to earn a MBA degree in 2025 . A concentration in Healthcare Management or Marketing is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in pharma/healthcare, marketing, sales, business analytics, and/or management consulting in health care related field is an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are required .
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience (5 preferred) prior to Business school is required .
• Validated analytical skills and cycles of success in a professional business environment are required .
• Ability to think strategically, and influence and execute a plan effectively is required .
• You are legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required .
The anticipated base pay for this position is $50/hour but will be based on the candidate’s program year, discipline, degree, and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Co-Ops/Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
