The IT Lead Product analyst – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) will work at the intersection of the finance team and technology to help define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives, challenges with technology solutions and extending them into development execution, value realization & ongoing product management. This role will focus on developing the Anaplan technology that supports a transformed financial planning and budgeting process.

This is a 3-year funded project, through end of 2026 (12/31/2026).

There is flexibility on the location where this role will be based, with a strong preference for location in New Brunswick- NJ (US). Markham (Canada) or Beerse (Belgium) will be considered alternate geographical locations. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000- $123,500. Please note, the compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the EPM squad team members for specific initiatives (for example, Central Models- Upload Model, Admin Model, Security Model) to understand business needs, write business-language user stories, and lead technical delivery of solutions aligned to those stories, including support for development of prototype/proof of concept mock-ups.
  • Act as the primary IT collaborator with the business, alongside Technical Product Owner (TPO), aligning on product development needs for the EPM related products and platforms through the definition, management, and clarification of user stories and use cases for complex requirements.
  • Ensure all partners are clear on the roadmap activities, interdependencies & due dates.
  • Provide oversight to operating support for some of the existing products.

We believe that current knowledge of industry and business process trends and the ability to apply knowledge to existing business processes are crucial to enable you to be successful in this role. Furthermore, it is recommended that you have a knowledge of the enterprise architecture and development methodologies along with a broad understanding of the current capabilities and limitations of existing systems. In addition to these core skills, we would expect you to have the following technical knowledge:

  • Financial planning and analysis
  • EPM Solutions
  • Anaplan, Hyperion, Adaptative Insights, IBM
  • HFM, Group Reporting, OneStream
  • Advanced Analytics

Reporting to the Technical Product Owner – IT Manager – EPM, you would partner closely with Global Process Owners, Business Product Owners, and Technology Services to maximize the value of the prototyping of the Anaplan solution while supporting the development of functional requirements and user stories for the build of the groundbreaking investment in the Enterprise Performance Management technology.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years required of relevant experience in defining and documenting requirements and supporting finance functions.
  • Strong technical focus with prior work experience in financial planning and budgeting technology solutions is required (for example as OneStream, TM1, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Anaplan is preferred.
  • Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Experience working to bring products/services to market is strongly desired. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Artificial intelligence/machine learning and Human centered design is an asset.
