Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Service Center Support Technician, to be located on-site in Cincinnati, OH.

What You’ll Do :

Maintain shipping and receiving areas

Receive, inspect, and stock spare parts from multiple suppliers

Receive and decontaminate returned equipment

Pack and ship medical devices and spare parts to domestic and international destinations

Manages movement of devices from various locations within the service center

Transfer devices to various inventory locations

Deliver miscellaneous packages to the requestor

Updates service system(s) for all product movement, ensuring accurate inventory and asset management

Qualifications

Required Education: 

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development. Or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working for large transportation, e-commerce, or shipping companies (i.e., UPS, FedEx, DHL)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong typing skills are required
  • Strong initiative and follow through is required
  • Strong prioritizing, organizing, and planning skills are required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
  • The ability to work effectively on a team is required
  • The ability to work independently without strong supervision is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with FedEx and DHL Shipping software
  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Experience with Salesforce software
  • Experience with warehouse organization
  • Experience in problem solving and continuous improvement

Work Environment:

  • Office work, Work at a bench – similar to a manufacturing floor; Regular use of a computer to receive and input information related to the service process. 

Physical Demands: 

  • May require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, and reach upper & lower shelving.
  • Operation of hoisting equipment for heavier loads
  • May require prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, and kneeling during system assembl
