As a member of the In Vivo Antibody Discovery Group, this role will develop in vivo antibody generation strategies. The focus will be on immunogen design (i.e. protein, DNA, mRNA), immunization strategy, development of novel delivery platforms, and assessing the quality of the immune response. Extensive experience with vaccine design, and B- and T-cell responses is required. A strong understanding of Germinal Center formation and evaluation will also be important. This is a critical function in a multifaceted Biologics Discovery organization committed to bringing the next generation of biotherapeutic molecules to patients. We are looking for a motivated candidate with scientific and technical expertise who can collaborate across discovery areas to bring value to our portfolio of innovative drug concepts. Proficiency to lead within a highly coordinated, fast-paced environment will be a significant attribute. An additional knowledge base in the areas of oncology, immunology, infectious disease, or cardiovascular disease would be a plus. If this sounds like you, come join our team!
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Immunology, Virology, Vaccine, or related field
- Must have expertise in vaccine/immunogen designing and immune response assessments
- Extensive experience with vaccine/immunogen design, and B- and T-cell responses is required.
- Must have animal handling and project management experience
- Understanding of Germinal Center formation and evaluation will also be important
