Janssen-Cilag B.V. is recruiting for a Medical Education Liaison , located in Breda.
The Medical Education Liaison (MEL) is a new role in our team. The MEL is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of Medical Education events, in close collaboration with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and in line with the Medical Education plan. The MEL coordinates the tasks and serves as a first point of contact for the Medical Education Coordinators (MECs).
The MEL is a member of the Medical Affairs Team, reporting to the Medical Therapeutic Area Lead (MTAL).
In this role you will work with many different internal partners and act as the coordinator to align everyone. Your tasks will be very varied and are essential to deliver high quality Medical Education events towards our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the MSL to develop the Medical Education Plan towards Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and assists with the execution
- Coordinates the organization of the Medical Education Event from planning phase to execution, including post-event evaluations, hereby aligning with internal collaborators and vendors as needed
- Crafts the digital customer event journey, if required, and prepares, requests and follows up with vendors on requested assets/materials
- Ensures all assets/materials are reviewed and approved through internal approval systems before use and ensures execution of Medical Education events are in line with Compliance, Legal and Regulatory requirements
- Manages Medical Education Budget
- Provides on-site support at assigned medical events if vital
- Oversees tasks and serves as first point of contact for the (external) MECs
- Aligns with marketing & sales colleagues to streamline cross-functional event planning
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in a similar position in Pharma industry or working experience as Event Coordinator/ Project Coordinator
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Must be mature in mentality and behaviour, enterprising, diplomatic, and proactive at solving problems
Preferred:
- Advanced level of computer proficiency (MS Office)
Other:
- Fluent in Dutch, English (oral and written)
