Description:
Janssen Sciences Ireland UC (JSI), part of Johnson & Johnson, established its operation in Ringaskiddy in 2005 on a 100-acre site with an investment of €500 million. For more than 25 years we have been a global leader in the field of biomedicines, in particular pioneering monoclonal antibody technology, a groundbreaking approach to producing medicines that launched a new generation of products to treat immune related diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and plaque psoriasis.
The facility in Ringaskiddy is operational producing biomedicines for both the treatment of immune related diseases and new and innovative cancer treatments.
In 2017, JSI announced an investment of more than €300 million in the expansion of its manufacturing plant that created more than 200 new jobs.
Job Purpose:
The position will be located at the Ringaskiddy site and will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group. The main responsibility will be to work as part of the site Execution Systems Team under the guidance of a Senior Engineer while also completing the apprenticeship program as specified. The site Execution Systems team are responsible for the software program development, support and maintenance of all automation systems, including Process Automation Systems, Building Automation Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Electronic Batch Records and Data Collection Systems.

Qualifications
Desirable:
- An interest in and aptitude in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering.
- The ability to work well individually and remotely
- The ability to adapt to change and develop skills to meet these changes.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Interest in developing skills, abilities, and career outside of apprenticeship model
Qualifications:
To be part of this high performing team you will have great attention to detail and have
- Leaving Cert Qualification
- Will have Leaving Certification Complete in 2023
