We are searching for the best talent for MASTER DATA ANALYST to be in Sao Jose dos Campos or Sao Paulo.

Purpose: Digital & Data Science is one of the critical capability levers within our J&J Enterprise Supply Chain strategy and is essential to building the world’s best supply chain organization! As the team continues to double-down on fact-based management – illuminating greater transparency and analytical capabilities across the performance indicators that will drive growth for our business – we must ensure that our energy, resources, capabilities, and talented employees are best-aligned to the advancing needs of our business and our customers.

The Data Operations team delivers trusted data to enable the launch & supply of products to our customers. Our key accountabilities include governance and maintenance of the Data Operations Framework; delivering a regulated and compliant data environment; using intelligent automation, workflow, process improvements, cross-segment expertise, and third-party suppliers to improve quality, timeliness, cost, and effort across Supply Chain; applying deep end-to-end knowledge and subject matter expertise to define, shape and implement supply chain strategies; and cultivating talent as a distinctive capability.

This position will execute day-to-day operations to support the strategy of the function across franchises/business units. Will develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to established policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for :

  • Execute data operations and data quality processes. May include testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, and audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)).
  • Engage with partners on tactical matters. Provide tactical guidance and knowledge transfer to third-party team(s) and serve as point of escalation.
  • Participate in the completion of projects and departmental goals by tactically focusing on business outcomes. Execute tools and processes that improve data operations execution.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department.
  • Participate in, and sometimes lead, operational and governance meetings including end-to-end, value capture, and third-party reviews.
  • Collaborate to create and maintain documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents. Deliver training to educate partners on detailed procedures, data flows, etc.
  • Recommend creative solutions and participate in exploring refinement and implementation of those solutions.
  • Support the deployment of the Data Management Framework

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience managing data from clients, materials/products and/or suppliers, data analysis and process management.
  • Advanced English (required for documentation reading and regional meetings).
  • Intermediate Spanish (required for interacting with Latin America partners)
  • Supply chain experience, preferably in master data, operations, or multi-functional business environment.
  • Basic business and/or technical knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain data elements, process, and organizational support models.
  • MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes.
  • Ability to contribute on a diverse, multicultural and partially remote team.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within timelines, in a fast-paced environment where priorities change rapidly.
  • This position may require 0-5% of domestic and international travel. Candidates from São Paulo city must consider regular travels do São José dos Campos site, where team is allocated.

Preferred:

  • Data management experience in the context of large ERP platforms
  • A relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector/cross-industry experience
  • Experience with Process Improvement (Lean Six-sigma or other methodologies) and reading/developing process flows.
  • Have participated on system change or upgrade projects.
