ABOUT THE ROLE:
Bright Machines is on a mission to transform how electronics are made—bringing intelligence, scalability, and flexibility to the factory floor. We combine the best of automation, machine learning, and software to modernize manufacturing from the ground up.
We are looking for a Senior Safety & Quality Regulatory Compliance Engineer with strong knowledge and experience in building quality & safety strategy in a global company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and communicating Bright Machines quality & safety programs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and safety standards.
  • Setting standards for quality, health and safety.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures specific to the nature of our operation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses on new and existing products.
  • Lead safety certification efforts, working with regulatory agencies and third-party certification bodies.
  • Provide technical guidance on safety-related design aspects, including functional safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental regulations.
  • Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
  • Working and overseeing global stakeholders on all quality and safety needs according to company standards.
  • Perform risk assessments, end-effectors, safety interlocks, and collaborative systems.
  • Train and lead our staff in safety and quality measures.
  • Lead safety comitee project.
  • Implement and maintain applicable quality management systems according to our requirements
  • Ensure that the company meet internal standards and customer specifications.
  • Lead internal and external audits

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in safety engineering, regulatory compliance, or a related discipline within the manufacturing or automation industry.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience and familiarity with electronics standards.
  • Work experience with suppliers and partners in the fields of production and development.
  • Familiarity with global safety and quality requirements
