ABOUT THE ROLE
The AP/AR Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the US (HQ) and MX accounting departments in processing transactions like expense reports, reimbursements, vendor invoices, customer invoices, VAT reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations with other subsidiaries around the globe, etc. through the usage of tools like office (excel, word, etc) or company systems. At the same time the role will support additional projects or department functions

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Support in employee expense and cash in advance processing.
  • Review of credit card transaction payments and review of receipts/ supporting documents and VAT application.
  • Customer invoices generation.
  • Post AP/AR-related transactions such as vendor invoices, vendor credits, credit card transactions, etc.
  • Follow-up balances in dispute with customer and vendors to clarify claims.
  • Perform XML invoice reconciliations and keep track to obtain and generate proper XML supplements from vendors/customers on a timely manner.
  • Assure receipt invoices meets all legal and company’s policies requirements.
  • Maintain physical and digital archive.
  • Support on diverse accounting activities.

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • University degree in accounting, finance, administration or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting and/or in billing.
  • Advanced- intermediate Excel skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • English at an advanced level

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD

  • Netsuite experience is a plus
