Integration Engineer/Technician
Bright Machines
ABOUT THE ROLE
Integration Engineers and Technicians at Bright Machines are on the front lines of bringing our automation systems to life. You’ll build, integrate, and deploy robotic solutions that power our intelligent factories—turning engineering designs into fully functioning, production-ready systems.
This role is hands-on and highly collaborative. You’ll work side-by-side with mechanical, electrical, systems, vision, and robotics engineers, as well as project managers, to ensure our solutions come together seamlessly. From assembly and system bring-up to troubleshooting and deployment, you play a critical role in delivering high-performance automation to our customers.
We move quickly, solve problems in real time, and take pride in building systems that work in the real world. If you enjoy working at the intersection of hardware and innovation—and want to see your impact on the factory floor—this is the role for you.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Design, assemble, and wire automation systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and control components, including robots, power panels, and control cabinets
Perform hands-on work across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, connecting sensors, actuators, and controllers
Execute system bring-up, testing, and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and internal quality requirements
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, vision, and robotics engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance
Own and maintain the integration floor, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Manage tools, equipment, and materials to support high-quality builds and minimize downtime
Proactively identify and resolve gaps or issues that could impact productivity
Travel up to 15% to customer sites and company locations across the U.S. and Mexico
Support on-site installation, system bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting
Train service engineers and customer technicians on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure successful deployment and sustained performance
