  • Strong expertise in financial statements and accounting concepts, including ability to translate accounting signals into model features, risk indicators, and analytical insights
  • Advanced knowledge of econometrics, statistics, and quantitative modeling, with the ability to determine when deep learning, traditional approaches, or hybrid methods are most appropriate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex modeling concepts into clear messages for senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience building scalable models and analytical solutions
  • Experience working with financial data and applying quantitative techniques within the financial services industry
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and familiarity with production machine learning systems (preferred)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
  • Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field, or Master’s degree in a related discipline with 2–3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry
Responsibilities
Lead the development and application of advanced data science and quantitative modeling techniques to drive insights and support analytics within the Analytics & Modeling function.
  • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to analyze complex financial datasets and generate actionable insights
  • Translate business problems into quantitative frameworks and deliver data-driven solutions aligned with organizational objectives
  • Evaluate and select appropriate modeling approaches based on data availability, interpretability requirements, and business context
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technical partners, to deliver high-impact analytics solutions
  • Communicate findings and model outputs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and deployment of scalable data science solutions and production-grade models
  • Continuously improve modeling methodologies and incorporate new tools, technologies, and best practices in data science and AI
