ABOUT THE TEAM

The Caper product team brings brilliant ideas and insight to the teams, proves them, traces them, and realizes them to add value to the client.

This is the deployment year for the company, we are deploying more products to more clients, and we saw the improvement opportunity, and got more feedback from the clients. We are looking for a new member to deliver a qualified HW product with good quality on the existing HW product, customized requests, and accessories.

ABOUT THE JOB/主要工作

1. Improve the customer experience of our main product lines and think of new features to solve known problems in the market.
2. Conduct qualitative or quantitative research, testing of hardware products, and output analysis and final recommendation reports to improve the product.
3. Define product specifications and acceptance criteria, and participate in the definition of the acceptance process.
4. Work together with R&D to split work tasks, and monitor the progress of development to ensure we are on the correct path.
5. Work with engineers to complete product development and adjust product details based on actual conditions.
6. Identify the reasonable priority of the requests and issues.
7. Product documentation writing.
8. Maintain a prioritized backlog of features and enhancements.

ABOUT YOU/关于你

Minimum Qualifications/基本要求

1. At least 5 years of hardware product manager experience.
2. Familiar with the hardware/software development process and able to control the R&D pace.
3. Possess broad PM skills to build user problem understanding and strategy with minimal supervision.
4. Communicate clearly in the face of ambiguity to align cross-functional teams on goals and execution.
5. Experience in independently delivering complete products, including production, and HW systems (software and hardware).
6. Work side by side with engineers to define technical solutions and decisions within product areas, driven by deep data and research.
7. Experience leveraging data to make good decisions when confronted with ambiguity. You should be data and metrics-driven.
8. Have market insight and data analysis capabilities, systematic product management thinking, and user thinking.
9. Good abstraction and integration skills.
10. Strong written and oral communication skills (English and Chinese).

Preferred Qualifications/若你具备下面的经验更佳

1. Optical product industry background.
2. Complexity mechanical product background. E,g, Robot Vacuum, Drone.
3. Overseas work/education background.
