About the job (what are you going to do)

1. Design and develop the next-generation web framework for seamless interaction with multiple backend systems.
2. Build the next-generation Android platform and backend development frameworks to enhance efficiency and performance.
3. Develop robust and scalable infrastructure for internal tools to support efficient workflows.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

1. 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
2. 3+ years of web front-end development experience.
3. Proficient in React.
4. Proficient in Java.
5. Skilled in system design, clean code principles, and object-oriented programming.
6. Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to meet daily technical development communication needs.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Owner of GitHub projects with 100+ stars.
2. Familiar with Next.js, proficient in state management libraries such as Zustand and Recoil, as well as authentication frameworks like NextAuth.js.
3. Familiar with Android mobile development and Kotlin.
4. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
6. Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.

We offer a competitive salary package

At Caper, the total compensation consists of base salary and equity in the form of RSUs (Restricted Stock Units). The job description shows only the base salary component, but we will additionally offer additional stock rewards from our parent company, Instacart. As a publicly traded company in the U.S., Instacart's stock can be directly traded on the market and holds potential for appreciation.

Caper has our own salary philosophy. The final salary of an offer will have a direct connection with the candidate's experience and skill level presented during the interview.
