About the Team
You will join a team focused on developing intelligent mobile system platforms, responsible for developing secure, stable, and compliant embedded systems, and building internal toolchains and infrastructure. Our team champions innovation and collaboration, and drives retail automation transformation with a shared vision.

About the job (what are you going to do)
- Manage the embedded systems development team.
- Responsible for system stability, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with relevant teams on software and hardware platform development.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in embedded system development for the automotive, robotics, and drone industries.
- 3+ years of experience managing embedded system development teams.
- Proficient in Android Framework.
- Familiar with fundamental operating system principles and driver development technologies.
- Familiar with Android/Linux BSP.
- Proficient in MCU development: µC/OS, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, NuttX, ARM kernels, and common peripheral development.
- Able to read hardware schematics fluently and debug using oscilloscopes and other equipments.
- Possesses professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Overseas study experience.
- Work experience in foreign companies.
- Experience in weighing certification.
- Experience in system security.

We offer a competitive salary package
At Caper, the total compensation consists of base salary and equity in the form of RSUs (Restricted Stock Units). The job description shows only the base salary component, but we will additionally offer additional stock rewards from our parent company, Instacart. As a publicly traded company in the U.S., Instacart's stock can be directly traded on the market and holds potential for appreciation.
Caper has our own salary philosophy. The final salary of an offer will have a direct connection with the candidate's experience and skill level presented during the interview.
