At Carbon Health, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our growing, multi-state healthcare organization. As we continue expanding our clinic operations and scaling our internal processes, you will play a key role in managing the legal & licensing function, including legal documentation, corporate records, compliance activities, and engagements with outside counsel. Your goal is to support Carbon Health’s cross-functional teams with accurate, organized, and timely legal operations.
In this role, you will oversee contract administration, document management, regulatory research, and a wide range of legal workflows that enable efficient operations across the business. You will be a legal & regulatory liaison to the executive team, and help build and refine the infrastructure needed for a scalable, well-organized legal function—bringing clarity, consistency, and structure to an evolving environment.

A seasoned, highly organized paralegal with strong experience supporting legal operations in dynamic or growing companies

Trustworthy, discreet, and experienced in handling sensitive information with sound judgment
Your Role
Manage the contract lifecycle process, including drafting, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining agreements such as vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and clinic-related documents
Maintain and enhance legal document management systems, ensuring templates, agreements, and corporate records are current and easy to access and identifying technological or AI-powered solutions where appropriate
Support corporate governance by maintaining entity records, assisting with required filings, and ensuring compliance across multiple states
Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare summaries, checklists, and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders
Assist with licensing and compliance efforts by gathering and organizing required documentation and tracking regulatory obligations
Support dispute-related workflows, including document organization, timeline tracking, preparation of internal summaries, and support & management of outside counsel
Draft routine correspondence, forms, memos, amendments, and policy-related documents with accuracy and clarity
Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Finance, Compliance, and other teams to support legal processes, clarify expectations, ensure alignment, and internal teams have the information needed to meet compliance and operational requirements on time
Your Qualifications and Skills (Required)
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
6+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate or operationally complex environment
Strong understanding of & experience with contract drafting, document management,project management, legal processes, regulatory research, maintaining corporate records, and multi-entity or multi-state compliance
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, prioritize effectively, collaborate with team members, and collaborate efficiently with an executive audience
Experience using contract lifecycle management tools or legal document management platforms and developing scalable legal templates, workflows, processes, or operational systems
Ideal Qualities (Desired Qualifications)
Experience in healthcare, clinic operations, or other highly regulated industries
Familiarity with HIPAA, data privacy concerns, and compliance frameworks
Experience in a fast-growing, early-stage, or venture-backed company
