Job Description:

We are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to help support the commercial team during all stages of the sales cycle to manage sales forecasting, planning, and order processes. You will proactively monitor and strive to ensure high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency across the commercial organization and will be the primary administrator of the Company’s CRM. You will also be the internal liaison with Operations in support of production planning and customer order status communication. If you have worked in a customer service role in a manufacturing environment, are able to take initiative for process improvements, enjoy helping to move orders out the door and working with a positive team with the common goal of improving the quality of water all around the world, please apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage best in class processing of customer orders and customer communications.
  • With the operations team, proactively address challenges in customer orders or deliveries.
  • Manage communications and product information with Distributors.
  • Analyze and present distributor sales and trends to commercial team.
  • Communicate with distributor Sales Reps on volume quote requests and customer-specific pricing.
  • Capture, and analyze feedback from sales and product management on reporting needs to develop better reports/dashboards to visualize information in company CRM.
  • Develop training materials for sales and other CIS internal personnel on commercial processes.
  • Assist management in understanding process bottlenecks and inefficiencies and offer solutions for improvement.
  • Work with cross-CIS teams to develop solutions for continual improvement of commercial processes.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years of experience in Business Administration, Customer Service or related field.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and process expertise.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Very driven, team-oriented and active participant in accomplishing team goals.
  • Ability to work independently and takes initiative for process improvement.

The base compensation range for this role is $80,000-$90,000. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
