Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Facilities and Equipment (F/E) Technician at Crystal IS. You will be tasked with the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of all process equipment and the facility's infrastructure.

The core responsibility of the Sr. F/E Technician involves the recovery from unanticipated equipment downtime and the upkeep of Facility and Production Equipment in alignment with Crystal IS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Equipment Specifications. You will act as the principal coordinator and primary point of contact for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and service vendor support.

Additionally, the Sr. F/E Technician is accountable for ensuring the seamless operation of building systems, including HVAC, cooling water systems, electrical installations, and plumbing, while complying with safety and regulatory standards. This role also encompasses the management of maintenance programs, oversight of renovations and upgrades, and provision of technical support. You will report directly to the F/E Engineering Manager.

Hours: Day Shift Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of facility equipment, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment.
  • Responsible for performing prescribed maintenance (PM) procedures and facility equipment operation in accordance with SOPs, work instructions and visual aids.
  • Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking status of planned and unplanned work orders, consumption of spare parts, and equipment utilization status.
  • Communicate equipment and/or building problems with the Facilities Manager and Equipment Engineer.
  • Assist Equipment and Process Engineers in coordinating installation of new or modification of existing equipment. This would include working with contractors to tie in or modify facility services to the tool and/or hardware installation tasks.
  • Maintain Mechanical equipment, Air Compressor, Facilities Shop and Storage areas.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with third parties and Crystal IS personnel. Oversee third party work as required to support maintenance or project activities.
  • Perform scheduled checks and maintenance of fire and life safety systems including but not limited to fire alarm, security, safety showers & eyewashes, AED, fire extinguishers, and lock out tag out supplies in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Work with Inventory Control to maintain proper inventory levels of critical spares, parts, and maintenance of toolboxes.
  • Support any afterhours building or equipment needs and activities as requested.
  • Attending training session and seminars.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree or equivalent military experience
  • 3+ years maintenance/equipment experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; must have experience with the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Pneumatic
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities
  • Self-starter and a team player with excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to routinely lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency with computer and software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The base compensation range for this role is $32-$40 an hour. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.
