Job Description:

The Associate Director, Patient Access Operations plays a key role in supporting the Company’s Field Access and Patient Support Program (PSP) teams through a combination of data analytics, project management, and operational excellence. The incumbent is responsible for the operational infrastructure supporting these teams — including contract and invoice management, access resource development, vendor oversight, and ongoing data and dashboard optimization.

This role partners closely with leadership in the Patient Support programs and Field Access, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure data-driven insights, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment across access initiatives.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics

  • Leads the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of Patient Support Program (PSP) data feeds and files to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Owns the data testing process for enhancements or updates, ensuring changes align with business specifications and deliver actionable insights.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the Field Access and Sales teams regarding PSP data-related questions.
  • Partners with internal business intelligence team and our data warehouse partner to build, validate, and maintain dashboards that support visibility, decision-making, and data accuracy for our internal teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Manages invoice tracking and budget recording for access-related initiatives.
  • Oversees contract management by initiating, tracking, and maintaining third-party vendor agreements through established systems and processes.
  • Leads and executes key access projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and cross-functional alignment.
  • Develops and distributes regular reports and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Participates in quarterly business reviews with selected external partners.

Strategic Support

  • Contributes to the development of access training and educational materials for internal and field teams.
  • Provides strategic input to support the growth and evolution of Patient Support and Field Access programs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to enhance operational processes and ensure business continuity.
  • Supports resolution of access barriers and case inquiries with a sense of urgency.


Compliance

  • Ensures adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and the Company’s Code of Conduct, as well as all U.S. healthcare laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, Patient Support, or Commercial Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, project management, and vendor/contract oversight.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and patient services operations.

Travel Requirements: Approximately 20%
