About this Position:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team. This role will oversee our participation in expos, networking events, and virtual events with the goal in enhancing brand awareness, engaging our target audience, and driving customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizing trade shows, a solid background in both traditional marketing, and top-notch organization and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
As the marketing team’s go-to event lead, you will be expected to:
- Event Management: Planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, marketing events, and webinars to engage customers and promote brand visibility. We currently exhibit at approximately 4 expos/mo and would like to increase that to 8-10 expos a month.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Contributing to the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to accelerate growth from events aimed at promoting technical products, increasing brand awareness, and driving business growth.
- Collaboration: Our licensed partners will primarily be the ones exhibiting at the event, so you will need to work closely with cross functional teams, including sales and partners ensuring everyone has everything they need for a successful event.
- Budget Management: Assisting in managing the trade show budget and tracking expenses to guarantee cost-effective execution of campaigns.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven experience in organizing trade shows and a strong background in traditional and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing communications, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Okay with traveling; although it may not be necessary

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000 dependent on qualifications, years of experience and location.
