The TeamThe System Test (QA) team plays a crucial role in validating the robustness and performance of our security systems across a rapidly evolving technology stack. Our mission is to combine the best practices of software quality assurance with scalable automation and continuous integration. We focus on early-stage testing, automation, and end-to-end validation across a wide range of use cases, including AI, IoT, and cloud services. Our goal is to detect issues early, reduce manual overhead, and continually improve the reliability of our products.
The PositionWe are looking for a versatile QA Engineer who thrives in a hybrid environment of automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has an eye for detail, and can help scale our QA infrastructure while continuing to support hands-on manual testing when needed. This role emphasizes building and maintaining test automation frameworks, writing efficient test scripts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. While automation is a key focus, the engineer must also be comfortable stepping into manual test efforts to ensure broad coverage and timely releases.
What You Will Do- Design and implement automated test cases for new and existing features
- Develop and maintain test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation coverage
- Conduct comprehensive system and integration testing across:
• Web clients
• Mobile apps (iOS & Android)
• Hubs and cameras
• Cloud services
• AI models
• E-commerce components
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks and tools
- Document and report bugs clearly, with reproducible steps and logs
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Collaborate closely with QA engineers and developers across multiple time zones
Qualifications- 2+ years of combined experience in manual and automated QA
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, Postman)
- Solid understanding of test case creation, execution, and bug reporting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Ability to balance hands-on testing with longer-term automation goals
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Preferences- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Testmo)
- Prior use of issue tracking tools like Jira or ClickUp
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WIX
- Comfort with Windows, macOS, Linux, and command-line usage
- Experience testing mobile apps via TestFlight and Google Play Beta
- Understanding of streaming protocols (RTSP, RTP, HTTP, MQTT, etc.)
- Familiarity with ONVIF, IoT devices, and IP security camera systems
- Passion for automation and scalable testing solutions
This is a fully remote role, and candidates must reside within the United States.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $95k - $125k annually. Compensation will vary based on geographic location (with bottom of our range representing the lowest cost of living tier in the US and the top of the range represents highest cost of living tier in the US) and a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
