Your Role in Our Mission
At Enveda, every role drives impact. As the Sr. FP&A Manager, you’ll be a critical execution partner to the Finance team and cross-functional stakeholders, maintaining the financial models and reporting infrastructure that power Enveda’s planning cycles and enable high-quality decision-making as we continue to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and continuously improve Enveda’s core financial models, including monthly forecasts, rolling budget updates, scenario analyses, and related reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate scientific and operational inputs into clear financial implications, ensuring models accurately reflect business dynamics, scientific roadmaps, and operational priorities
- Support quarterly close in close partnership with Accounting, including variance analysis, accruals, and financial reviews
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and metrics that provide visibility into R&D spend, portfolio progression, operational efficiency, and capital allocation
- Prepare high-quality materials for Board meetings, investors, and executive leadership in partnership with the Director and VP of FP&A and CFO
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, streamline financial processes, and strengthen internal controls
You Get to Collaborate On
- R&D & Portfolio Strategy: Partnering with a wide range of teams (including platform, pipeline, drug asset teams, and G&A) to track scientific priorities, capture spend drivers, and keep financial models current as the portfolio evolves
- Operational & Company Planning: Supporting the budget plan, resource allocation, and headcount/consultants modeling in partnership with People, Operations, and Program Management
- Data Infrastructure & Analytics: Collaborating with data, engineering, and operations teams to maintain reporting tooling and financial data pipelines, flagging gaps and helping to improve data quality and scalability
- Finance Leadership Support: Providing the VP of FP&A and CFO with timely, accurate analyses to support short and long-term cash forecasting and capital planning, as well as other strategic initiatives
- Cross-functional Project Work: Partnering across teams on cost tracking, scenario modeling, vendor evaluations, and diligence support
We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in FP&A or financial analysis roles
- Exceptional analytical rigor, comfort with complex modeling, and the ability to simplify ambiguity into clear insights
- An individual contributor with high ownership who can roll up their sleeves to drive projects independently while collaborating fluidly with many stakeholders
- FP&A experience ideally in biotech, pharma, or R&D-intensive organizations, with familiarity with portfolio-driven financial dynamics
- Curiosity about the science and business context behind the numbers — someone who proactively seeks to understand what drives the figures
- Clear communicator who builds trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- A builder energized by creating and improving processes, models, and reporting tools in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Mission-aligned and excited to contribute to Enveda’s work reinventing small-molecule drug discovery
