Job Title: Global Compliance and Logistics Specialist

Location: Austin, TX (preferred) or remote in EST or CT time zone.

Position: Full time

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Global Compliance and Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer. This role involves overseeing importation processes, logistics, and various operational requirements to ensure compliance and efficiency in our international operations. This is a full time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Filings: Coordinate and manage regulatory submissions in various countries, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Importation Management: Oversee importation procedures, including customs documentation and compliance with international trade laws.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in international regulations and adjust company policies accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure cohesive operational strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external partners, such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory filings, import/export documents, and compliance certifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues related to regulatory compliance or logistics disruptions promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Law, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, import/export operations, or logistics management.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling regulatory documents and logistics data.
  • Team player
  • Driven, hard-working, flexible working hours, able to work in a fast-paced environment, passionate about the space and the potential impact.
