Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Austin, TX (preferred) or remote in EST or CT time zone.

Position: Full time

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our innovative team at Gameto. This role will be reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of contracts to ensure they align with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and Review Contracts: Prepare, review, and modify contractual agreements, including master service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, engagement letters, consulting and advisor agreements, employment agreements, collaborative research agreements, etc.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to achieve favorable terms.
  • Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with legal regulations and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in contract terms and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Contract Management: Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records and ensure all contracts are up to date.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the legal, procurement, and finance teams to align contract terms with organizational goals.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance and training to staff on contract policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with contract management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
  • English and Spanish proficiency.
  • Strong time management and organization skills
