Greenhouse is seeking a Sr. Talent Development Partner to elevate and deliver impactful, strategic talent solutions across our organization. Sitting on the People Success team and reporting to our Director of Organizational Development, this newly-created role will serve as a trusted partner to the People team, driving the assessment, development, and retention of high potential talent. You will design and lead career architecture, talent development, and succession planning initiatives—empowering employees and leaders to do the best work of their careers.

What you’ll do

Competency Frameworks & Career Architecture
- Develop, refine, implement, and maintain career paths and competency models in support of Greenhouse’s High Performing Teams approach.
- Align the business on a Leadership Model and embed it into our performance process.
- Conduct analysis and benchmarking to ensure roles and frameworks align to business strategy and enable employee growth.
- Collaborate with People team members to integrate capabilities and competencies into various People processes.

High Potential Evaluation & Succession Planning
- Lead the creation, implementation, and iteration of high-potential identification frameworks and processes.
- Partner with People Business Partners and senior leaders to deliver on robust talent reviews, including calibration sessions and succession planning for business-critical and leadership roles.

Leadership Development
- Design and deliver engaging, scalable leadership development programs for managers and high-potential employees.

Talent Strategy & Enablement
- Design and execute a learning needs assessment for the organization that informs the yearly roadmap of development offerings
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the evolving future of work to anticipate talent needs and proactively contribute to Greenhouse’s talent strategy.
- Manage strategic relationships with learning technology partners.
- Play a visible role in fostering a people-centric, high-performance, inclusive culture—connecting employees’ day-to-day experiences to long-term development and career growth.
You should have
- 7+ years’ experience in talent development, organizational development, or related HR/People roles, with an emphasis in career architecture, succession planning, or leadership development.
- Proven experience designing and delivering people solutions in high-growth, fast-changing organizations (tech or SaaS preferred).
- Deep knowledge of career architecture, competency models, high potential identification, and learning program design and facilitation.
- Advanced relationship-building, partnership, and advising skills across business and HR stakeholders.
- Exceptional data analysis, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong commitment to IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Allyship) principles in all aspects of talent work.
- Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications (e.g., Hogan, StrengthsFinder, coaching) a plus.

The national pay range for this role is $114,000- $171,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
