Our Mission:
Happiest Baby is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations across our domestic and international supply chain network. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, managing key logistics partners, supporting wholesale operations, and driving operational excellence across multiple distribution channels.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented logistics professional with strong analytical capabilities, a proven ability to manage complex transportation networks, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Transportation & International Logistics
  • Manage domestic and international freight operations, including LTL, FTL, ocean, air, and parcel shipments.
  • Coordinate shipments between suppliers, ports, carriers, and warehouse partners to ensure timely delivery.
  • Source and negotiate competitive transportation rates while maintaining service standards.
  • Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications and monitor duty and tariff changes.
  • Review customs documentation and coordinate with customs brokers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to transportation and logistics activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers to support operational performance.
Warehouse & Fulfillment Coordination
  • Manage inbound logistics activities across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Create and maintain Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs) and ensure timely receipt of inbound inventory.
  • Provide regular inbound forecasts and support inventory planning activities.
  • Lead the resolution of transportation and warehouse-related issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Partner with Customer Care and fulfillment providers to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
Wholesale & Returns Management
  • Manage wholesale purchase orders, including order entry and coordination with key retail partners.
  • Oversee logistics execution for wholesale accounts, including Amazon, Target, and Pottery Barn Kids.
  • Coordinate return-to-vendor (RTV) requests, return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), and warehouse removals.
  • Monitor and resolve wholesale backorders in collaboration with third-party logistics providers.
Reporting & Operational Analysis
  • Maintain accurate reporting for inbound shipments, international logistics activities, purchase orders, receipts, and inventory movements.
  • Track key logistics metrics and provide regular updates to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service performance.
Logistics Projects & Cost Control
  • Support new product launches and strategic initiatives through logistics planning and cost analysis.
  • Audit freight and logistics invoices to ensure billing accuracy and recover applicable credits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping, customs compliance, and freight management.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and warehouse partners.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP, WMS, or transportation management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
