As a Facilities Technician at Impulse, you'll apply your hands-on expertise in both electrical systems or plumbing infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be a key player in maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient environment for our operations—keeping everything from power distribution to piping systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility electrical systems, including lighting, circuits, control panels, outlets, and conduit runs
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, fixtures, pumps, and HVAC-related piping
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems to ensure code compliance and operational integrity
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and safety teams to support infrastructure upgrades, remodels, and installations
- Respond to service requests and work orders efficiently while minimizing downtime
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance logs
- Ensure safety standards and building codes are strictly followed (OSHA, NEC, UPC, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years' of demonstrated hands-on experience in electrical or plumbing maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting
- Working knowledge of low-voltage and high-voltage systems, load balancing, breakers, and wiring
- Strong familiarity with plumbing layouts, pipe fitting, soldering, drainage, and backflow systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Comfortable using power tools, testing equipment (multimeters, pipe inspection cameras, etc.), and building management systems
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Journeyman or trade certification in Electrical and/or Plumbing (or in progress)
- Experience in mission-critical or specialized environments (labs, cleanrooms, data centers, aerospace facilities)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with CMMS software and digital maintenance tracking systems
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
