As a Supply Chain Systems Analyst at Impulse Space, you will analyze, develop, and implement both tactical and strategic business processes for the supply chain organization, creating high-impact, efficient, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze key performance indicators related to the supply chain, including inventory levels, lead times, supply coverage, demand fluctuations, and capacity utilization (including developing planning models and decision-making tools)
  • Create dashboards, models, and other reporting tools to enable strategic visibility across the supply chain, production, cross-functional teams, and leadership
  • Identify inefficient workflows and develop scripts to automate tactical processes
  • Track, report, and proactively manage production efficiency improvements (e.g., supply chain initiatives and process optimizations)
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on supply chain analysis to optimize both supplier and internal processes
  • Demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, attention to detail, self-direction, and curiosity
  • Drive results and customer satisfaction by collaborating with teams, leading projects, and continuously spearheading supply chain improvements
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions (including actual performance) on Impulse’s business health
  • Collaborate with the broader application software team to support ERP tool development and supplier-facing workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, information systems, computer science, or engineering
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Retool), or programming experience
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics, operations, management/strategy consulting, planning, product management, or related fields

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and similar data manipulation tools)
  • Experience with Excel macros, Python, and scripting
  • Demonstrated experience managing simultaneous projects with tight deadlines and navigating ambiguous problem statements
  • Proficiency in understanding end-user requirements, translating requirements into design specifications, and identifying system enhancement opportunities
  • Understanding of business concepts related to supply chain management (procurement, sourcing, material movement/logistics, supplier quality, etc.)
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or related operational efficiency principles
  • Experience with inventory management and production systems (MRP/ERP systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, clean, analyze, and present data to drive systemic improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to team members, internal customers, and management

Additional Information:

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.

Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
