As a Tube Bender at Impulse, you will be responsible for the precision assembly, testing, inspection, and documentation of high-reliability tube fabrication. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and critical to delivering flight-worthy hardware on aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities
- Perform tube fabrication operations such as cutting, bending, flaring, proofing, and assembly of seals and fittings
- Identify, document, and communicate non conformances or build issues
- Work with designers, engineers and other technicians to improve tube fabrication processes and throughput
- Provide training and guidance to other technicians
- Clean, prep, and handle parts in accordance with aerospace cleanliness standards
- Operate and maintain tube bending machinery
- Support continuous improvement efforts in tooling, processes, and assembly flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ year of hands-on hardware manufacturing experience in a production environment
- Proficiency with hand tools, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, and basic measurement equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with pressure systems, leak detection methods, or test setups
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. Understands drawing symbols, flag notes, and section views
- Experience with orbital tube welding
- Experience with Tube bending programming- preferably VGP 3d and VGP Next
- Understanding material properties and perform bend corrections due to spring back and elongation
- Experience with tube inspection equipment and software- preferably Hexagon and TubeInspect
- 5+ years' of demonstrated experience with structural assembly work on rockets, launch vehicles, or spacecraft

- Flexible schedule and willing to travel as needed

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
