Ironclad is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications to join our People team in San Francisco. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that enhance internal communication across the organization, ensuring our teams feel informed, engaged, and aligned with Ironclad’s mission, values, and goals. Partnering with senior leadership to ensure key information flows to our 500+ teammates across the organization, you will be a core contributor of designing our ways of working. Operating in our hybrid work model, you will build and optimize internal communication systems and practices that help streamline cross-functional collaboration and align teams around the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and align Ironclad employees with our core values, business goals, and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to craft clear, motivating communications around company updates, initiatives, and key milestones.

  • Drive employee engagement by creating content that celebrates Ironclad’s culture, highlights employee achievements, and keeps teams aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Create and manage internal communications channels (intranet, Slack channels, etc.) to ensure consistent and effective messaging.

  • Evaluate, manage, and mitigate internal communications risks through the development of communications and response plan addressing potential sensitive topics

  • Lead the planning and execution of key internal communication events such as town halls and company announcements, providing content creation and messaging support.

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts, gathering feedback to refine strategies and improve engagement.

  • Leverage future of work technologies and AI to automate and optimize communications workflows.

Key Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications within tech, SaaS, or high-growth industries.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.

  • Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership to align communication strategies with organizational goals.

  • Experience managing communication platforms and tools (Slack, Notion, etc.)

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and communication challenges.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.
