We are looking for a highly experienced, independent Bookkeeper to join our Finance team and report directly to the VP of Finance. This is the first Bookkeeper role in the organization, offering full ownership of the company’s bookkeeping function. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the company’s bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for month-end close processes, including review of amortization, intercompany transactions, Prepaid, Fixed assets, and accruals.
• Prepare the month-end financial analysis.
• Conduct bank account and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage the accounts payable process, recording of AP invoices, creation of new vendors, and processing payments to suppliers.
• Manage Accounts Receivable process, issue invoices to customers, and handle collections.
• Prepare VAT reports and manage payments to authorities.

• Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 or higher
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a high-growth tech or startup environment
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet structure, GL accounts, and financial processes
• Experience with ERP systems, especially NetSuite (strong advantage)
• Proficient in English (writing, reading, and speaking)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
