We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our HUB Core team, the heart of Kela's command & control platform. In this role, you'll design and build the real-time backend systems that orchestrate drones, cameras, radars, and other defense sensors in mission-critical environments. You'll be building high-performance gRPC services, defining shared APIs consumed by multiple teams, and solving complex concurrency and distributed systems challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the core team that's in charge of orchestrating real-world devices.
  • Design, build, and maintain core backend systems for Product Analytics, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions in alignment with product goals and collaborate closely with frontend and platform teams.
  • Own the APIs that other teams and external users depend on to build their products.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend expertise with System Languages(Rust/C++, /GO, etc.)
  • Drives technical architecture decisions in alignment with product goals, collaborating closely with frontend and platform teams.
  • Experience building shared libraries, frameworks, or platform components consumed by multiple teams.
  • Disciplined approach to engineering workflows, processes, and code quality.
  • Proficient with modern cloud tools and infrastructure.
